Fourteen of the 20 largest donors or donor groups in the 2026 election cycle have backed Republican candidates or aligned organizations almost exclusively. The top 20 supplied $1.2 billion—about one-eighth of the $9.8 billion raised by campaigns and super PACs through Sept. 25.
