NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope identified the host galaxy of FRB 20240304B, detected by MeerKAT on March 4, 2024. Webb measured a redshift of 2.148, confirming it as the most distant fast radio burst observed and providing clues about the energetic events that produce such flashes.
