The United States holds Congress and governor elections in the 3 November midterms. Women are about 51% of the population but only 28.4% of Congress; nevertheless 152 women now serve in the House and Senate, the highest total ever, and 14 of 50 governors (28%) are women, also a record. Kelly Dittmar
