Benchmark led a $25 million seed round in Furientis, valuing the one-year-old defense startup at $125 million in the firm’s first pure-defense investment. Furientis, which announced a $5 million pre-seed round in May, has secured a funded Pentagon contract to build mid-range interceptor missiles.
