Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said at the United Nations that Iran will reopen the Strait of Hormuz within seven days if the US accepts a plan Tehran has presented. He said the choice now rests with Washington. The proposal is based on a Memorandum of Understanding brokered in June.
