Bitcoin reached $86,857 on Bitstamp on Friday, its highest level since September 23, after buyers broke through sell orders around $85,000. It later fell below $86,000, while 24-hour Bitcoin short liquidations hit $122 million and total crypto liquidations reached $210 million.
