ACEA president and Mercedes-Benz chief Ola Källenius warned that excluding the UK from EU contracts under the planned Industrial Accelerator Act would weaken carmakers on both sides. The law targets non-EU competition, chiefly China, whose trade surplus with the EU has reached £1bn a day.
