The central Pacific temperature at the heart of the current super El Niño has reached 3.05°C, above the 3.02°C record from November 2015 in 150 years of NOAA data, months before peak. Fourteen-model forecasts predict a 4.0°C peak in November–December. The ONI index is 0.01°C below the 2015 high; ris
