Webb Reveals Hidden Stars and Powerful Jets in NGC 7129

NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope has revealed previously obscured stars in NGC 7129, a stellar nursery about 3,300 light-years away. Its central pre-main-sequence star, LkH(alpha) 234, has 5–8 times the Sun’s mass, while earlier outflows carved a cavity roughly 3.5 light-years wide.
