Anthropic’s Claude generated 318,484 protein-binder designs targeting five toxins from four scorpion species. Of 211 tested, 17 met binder criteria; the two strongest tightly bound the Mexican scorpion toxin Cn2, but their effectiveness as antivenom remains untested.
