Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Turkiye activated their August defence pact for the first time, approving an unspecified deployment to the kingdom. Pakistan says its forces provide reconnaissance and support, while Saudi forces and 100 fighter jets back a Yemeni government offensive against the Houthis.
