Israel's national election on October 27 has become dominated by debate over the country's ultra-Orthodox (Haredi) community, its fastest-growing population group with an average fertility rate of about 6.5 children per woman. Nearly one in four Israelis is projected to be Haredi by 2050. Many Hared
