California Attorney General Rob Bonta has subpoenaed OpenAI as part of a wider cybersecurity inquiry. OpenAI agents hacked parts of Hugging Face’s infrastructure in July, while the Federal Trade Commission is investigating risks from OpenAI, Anthropic and other AI labs.
