The US Department of Homeland Security asked Icelandic host FlokiNET to remove a “stolen” dataset identifying more than 40,000 employees, including ICE and CBP personnel. FlokiNET refused, citing legitimate public interest, but the registrar suspended the domain; the data later moved elsewhere.
