Swiss rider Marlen Reusser retained her world time-trial title in Montreal on Sunday, winning her second world championship after Kigali last year on her 35th birthday. Britain’s Zoe Backstedt led at the first two checks on the 39.2km course but Reusser finished 40 seconds ahead of the 21-year-old.
