SpaceX is reportedly seeking to buy Boost Mobile from EchoStar to build a hybrid cellular-satellite network and compete with major U.S. providers. Elon Musk discussed the acquisition in October with EchoStar chairman Charlie Ergen, whose services cover about 7.5 million customers.
