Gerry Cardinale’s RedBird Capital Partners invested $4 billion in Paramount’s merger with Warner Bros. Discovery, bringing its total investment in the Ellisons’ media holdings to $6 billion. RedBird and the Ellisons control all voting shares in the combined company.
