A BBC investigation identified at least 43 attacks on hospitals and healthcare sites in el-Fasher from May 2024 to October 2025. Between April 2023 and October 2025, 55 medical workers were killed, 120 injured and 10 abducted or forcibly disappeared. The RSF rejected the findings.
