UK Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy issued a public interest intervention notice over Sky’s proposed $2.1 billion acquisition of ITV and ITVX. The CMA and Ofcom must report by January 27, after which Nandy will decide whether to order a deeper inquiry. ITV Studios would be spun off.
