Three militias from a seven-group alliance led by the TPLF are fighting Ethiopia’s military. Ethiopia accused Eritrea, Sudan and Egypt of backing the TPLF; all denied or rejected the claim. Sudan countered that Ethiopia supports the RSF, which has fought Sudan’s army for over three years.
