Japan’s 17-year-old Shin Ohashi won the men’s 200m breaststroke at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya with a world-record 2:04.83, becoming the first man under 2:05. The time beat Qin Haiyang’s prior mark of 2:05.48 and Ohashi’s former best of 2:06.59.
