Starbucks has reportedly worked with advisers on a possible takeover of Chipotle, valued at nearly $39bn, which would reunite CEO Brian Niccol with the chain he previously led. Chipotle shares rose about 6% on Thursday, while shares in the $107bn coffee company fell about 3%.
