Anthropic will allocate 5% of its shares to a fund supporting nonprofits and responses to AI’s impact on jobs, with another 2% possible at its board’s discretion. The shares cannot fund lobbying or political donations. The pledge comes as the Claude developer considers an IPO valuing it above $1tn.
