France’s Henri Kagan and Japan’s Kenso Soai won the 2026 Nobel Prize in Chemistry on October 7 for discovering non-linear effects and autocatalysis in asymmetric organic synthesis, research important to pharmaceutical development. They share 12 million Swedish kronor, about $1.2 million.
