France’s Mistral unveiled Mistral Large 4, or le Chonk, a 1-trillion-parameter open-weight model for cyber, coding, manufacturing, finance and multimodal tasks. Trained on 4,000 Nvidia Grace Blackwell GPUs over two months, it enters preview before a wider October release.
