The UK consulate in East Jerusalem will close on Thursday after Israel ordered it shut in response to a British trade ban on illegal West Bank settlements and related sanctions. Palestinians in East Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza will lose its services; the UK may expel 27 Israeli diplomats.
