Brent crude gained 1.75% to $106.60 and WTI 1.7% to $98.10 on Tuesday after the U.S. reportedly hit Qeshm Island late Monday, a day before the midterms. That reversed a Monday drop of more than 7% after both presidents hinted at diplomacy; Brent had been at its highest since 2022. U.S. officials tol
