A gunman opened fire from a vehicle in Trappes and La Verrière, about 20 kilometres west of Paris, at around 10:30 a.m. on Friday, killing at least one person and wounding four. Police arrested him in nearby Coignières, and prosecutors are treating the shooting as a suspected terrorist attack.
