Yemen's Taiz under renewed Houthi siege as blocked roads push up food and fuel prices
Houthis cut the main road into Taiz after taking ground south of the city, causing shortages that echo the 2015–2016 siege. In early September they seized Mocha and Dhubab on the Red Sea coast, where Bab al-Mandeb handles about 12% of global trade.
