The $117bn CVS Health will spin off its 9,000 pharmacies, in-store clinics and mail-order prescription business as CVS Pharmacy. CVS Health will retain insurer Aetna, benefits manager Caremark and care services, amid regulatory scrutiny of market dominance and healthcare costs.
