An Omani copilot stabbed the Indian captain aboard a FlyDubai flight carrying 174 people from the UAE to Tel Aviv. Passengers subdued the attacker and helped stabilise the aircraft after a steep descent tore away its rudder, forcing a landing in Saudi Arabia. The motive remains unknown.
