Miatta Fahnbulleh and John Healey will approve Shell and Equinor’s Jackdaw gas field on Wednesday. It is expected to supply about 2% of UK gas demand for roughly 10 years and, at full operation, account for 6% of North Sea gas production, drawing criticism from climate campaigners.
