Preliminary results from Saturday’s vote left no party with a governing majority. Christopher Luxon’s National Party won 42 seats, 19 short of 61; Chris Hipkins’s Labour took 36. National plus ACT and New Zealand First could narrowly beat the left bloc if they agree, but Hipkins did not concede. Wit
