Explosions were heard overnight in Addis Ababa after authorities banned drone flights. The Ethiopian Peoples’ Forces Alliance for Survival claimed drone strikes, including on military headquarters, as federal troops advanced to within about 40km of Tigray’s capital, Mekelle.
