Deadly avalanches and heavy snow have spoiled the 2026 fall season on Manaslu, Nepal's second most popular 8,000-meter peak after Everest. Four climbers died on the 26,781-foot mountain, and with more snow forecast, expedition leaders doubt anyone will summit before the season ends in October.
