NASA’s Chandra and Germany’s eROSITA traced the “Treble Clef” radio structure to an outburst from a supermassive black hole followed by the merger of two galaxy clusters. The object, obscured by the Milky Way, lies in hot gas within clusters containing hundreds of galaxies.
