Trump Offered to Sell Arms to China, U.S. Ambassador Says

David Perdue, the U.S. ambassador to China, said President Trump offered to sell weapons to China in a conversation with its leader, Xi Jinping. The White House later stated that the United States has no plans for any such arms sale.
