California will receive $6 million and end its appeals over 23andMe’s bankruptcy sale after a 2023 breach exposed data from 6.9 million customers, including more than 855,000 Californians. The $305 million buyer is TTAM Research Institute, controlled by co-founder Anne Wojcicki.
