Which housing market story do you find more credible: buyers gaining negotiating power, or prices rising over 10%?
Fundamenta's analysis says the usual autumn demand pickup never happened, so buyers now have more negotiating power. Almost simultaneously, Piac & Profit reported prices around Budapest accelerating past 10% growth.
I believe buyers are gaining power — you can negotiate now
I believe the 10%+ price rise — prices keep climbing
I think both are true, just for different market segments
