The US, Russia and China all want to build a nuclear reactor on the Moon. What is your view?

The reactors would power bases and the mining of ice water in craters; the risk of contamination remains.

• Needed: no lasting Moon base without a reactor
• Good idea, but with strict international rules
• Only if there is proven to be no risk of accident
• Not needed: solar power could do the job
• We should not take nuclear material to the Moon at all
